Can I just walk in or do I need an appointment
We have people come in looking for walk-in tattoos every day, and the majority of them walk back out with a great tattoo they are delighted with, however we are unable to always accommodate walk-ins, based on availability and timing.
If you are thinking about having a large piece done, please come in to speak to us so we can estimate timings and book you in for an appointment at a convenient time.
For the best outcome for a walk-in, get to the shop as early as you can – we’re open from 10 every day, and be prepared to maybe be asked to pop back an hour or two later. Unfortunately sometimes people come in looking for a walk-in 15 minutes before we close, and it’s disappointing for both of us that we’re unable to make that work.
Can I get a price quote on your website, facebook, instagram or by phone?
For best results, pop in to visit us at 36 West Port, Edinburgh, EH1 2LD and we’ll be able to give you a quote, and either tattoo you straight away, or get you booked in for an appointment another day.
Alternatively, fill in our online form below and we will get back to you with a quote.
What is your shop minimum price?
Our shop minimum price for is £80. This minimum pricing is something that has just a few lines and can be covered by a 20 pence piece.
This is there to cover the minimum consumables used, the setup and sanitisation procedures and the artist’s time.
Can I use my card or phone to pay for my tattoo?
Yes! We accept all major payment cards, and mobile payments, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, American Express, Visa & Mastercard, along with cash
I've sent you a message and haven't heard back
We always aim to get back to everyone within 24 hours. Unfortunately sometimes our messages end up in spam folders. Please check your spam, and worst case give us a call or pop in to the studio.
I've paid a deposit and booked an appointment but need to change it
All deposits are non refundable.
We understand that sometimes unexpected things happen, so if you contact us at least 48 hours before your appointment time, we will allow you to reschedule your appointment once.
This policy helps us protect our artists’ time, and prevents us disappointing other customers who are waiting for appointments to get their perfect tattoo.

What should I do before my appointment?
What you shouldn’t do is go to the pub! It’s against the license terms to tattoo anyone who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. You should just get yourself prepared to sit calmly, think about any music you’d like to listen to and optionally have a chat while your new piece of art appears before your very eyes!
Does getting a tattoo hurt?
Yes! What did you think we were going to say?!
In reality, it isn’t that bad – most people find it more of a mild discomfort than being that painful, especially at first, and then it normally becomes more of a background numbness. Some people actually find the noise and rhythm of the tattoo machine relaxing!
